Education and Experience
Dr. Rammos was born in Delaware, PA, where he spent the first 4 years of his life. His father completed his residency and they returned to Greece. As a youth he was strongly exposed to the world of Medicine through interaction with his father and his colleagues. He graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and received the Diploma of Medicine with the degree of “Excellent”, ranking 9th among 253 Medical Students in his Class. He then completed his service in the Greek Air Force, where he spent his last ten months as a Sergeant Physician in the 113 Fight Wing Military Airport in Greece.
He completed the General Surgery Residency Program in Peoria, Illinois in 2007 and graduated on 2012 receiving the “Warren Cole Society” Award for recognition of outstanding Chief Resident Leadership and being an excellent role model for Fellow Residents. He then completed his plastic surgery training at the world renowned Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. He spent an additional year in Charlotte, NC, where he completed an Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Fellowship at the Hunstad/Kortesis Plastic Surgery Center, 1 of the only 12 Fellowship Programs nationwide.
Cosmetic and Reconstructive Expertise
Dr. Rammos performs cosmetic procedures including breast augmentation, abdominoplasty, liposuction, facelift, buttocks augmentation and Botox® and fillers injections. Dr. Rammos has also authored publications on a variety of topics including facelift, browlift, body contouring and breast reconstruction. He has given national and international presentations on both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
Family and Interests
Dr. Rammos has 2 siblings. His brother completed his training in Neurosurgery at the University of Illinois, College of Medicine at Peoria, and is currently in private practice in Little Rock Arkansas. His sister studied Greek Philology, and recently completed her PhD in Ancient Greek and Latin Literature.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling.
